Our Southlake, TX Leadership Team
Hello, my name is Tia, and I am the Program Director here at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Southlake. Every day I wake up just so excited to be a part of the student’s lives. I get the chance to watch them grow each and every day while helping to shape their minds. This time for children is one of the most important.
I am so happy to have moved into this role and ready to start this amazing journey. I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri. I graduated from St. Louis Community College with my AAS in Early Care and Education. I am going on my 14th year of being in the childcare field. I am on my fifth year working here at Little Sunshine Playhouse and what an AMAZING JOURNEY it has been. I have previously taught at LSP of University City, Mo for three years then I was promoted to head teacher at LSP of O’Fallon, Mo. In early 2020 my family and I relocated to Frisco, Texas. What made this move so exciting is that I could stay on this journey with my LSP family and transfer to the Southlake location. I started off as the two-year-old teacher then moved into the Pre-K teacher role and ultimately was promoted to Head Teacher.
On a personal note, I have a wonderful love of my life, an awesome 7-year-old son Brayden and two dog babies Diesel and Kash! I love them with all my heart!
Hello, families! My name is Victoria, and I am the Assistant Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Southlake. I have a passion for teaching young children, and I believe a positive preschool experience is vital in setting children up for a bright future.
My early childhood career began in 2012 when I started working as a reading tutor for elementary school children. Through that experience I discovered a love for teaching and working with children. I received my bachelor’s degree in Child Development from Harding University in 2017, and I have 8 years of experience as a preschool teacher. I have been with Little Sunshine’s Playhouse since 2018, where I started as an assistant preschool teacher and worked my way up to head teacher. I have loved my time in the classroom, but I am excited and ready to begin this new journey as an administrator.
I am originally from Newark, Ohio, but I have lived in Texas for five years now. In my free time I enjoy reading, baking, yoga, being outdoors, and spending time with my wonderful friends and family.
I look forward to getting to know you and welcome you into the Little Sunshine’s Family. I am so honored to be a part of this crucial time in your child’s life!
Educational Child Care Programs
Our highly trained infant teachers partner with you to ensure your baby’s developmental needs are met every step along the way. Our nursery staff create predictable routines and nurturing classroom environments that foster social and emotional development in your baby.
We are new to the area and so glad we discovered LSP! We were looking for something that fit our family’s style – fun, educational, positive environment, great communication, healthy food, clean and location! I immediately got a great vibe from the leadership team – they are so kind, welcoming, and great to work with! We really like the communication – we get an email each morning with the schedule so it’s fun to tell our daughter about what to expect each day which makes her excited!
Little Sunshine’s is an amazing place, with incredible teachers, staff, and directors! They’re all are so welcoming and pay attention to so many details involving the little ones. We also love getting little notes and pictures showing how our baby is doing throughout the day!
Wow oh Wow do I LOVE this place! My girls absolutely love going to school and are excited every day to get out of the car and see their friends and teachers. As a mom, I feel truly blessed to have a daycare/ school where I know my girls are both well taken care of and loved! While I am so glad that they are learning so much at school but it is more important to me that they are learning to become good people. LSP is truly one of a kind and I am so grateful for every person that works there- they truly know and love my kids!
