Our Leadership Team
Hello! My name is Karri and I’m excited to be your Program Director for the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse in The Woodlands. I’ve been in the education industry for more than 27 years and in administration for more than 22 years. I began my career as a pre-kindergarten teacher, which is when I realized I had a passion for teaching young children and wanted to make it my career. I moved out of the classroom and into administration where I grew professionally and ran several successful preschool programs while raising my son.
I was very excited to find Little Sunshine’s Playhouse as I feel that their Reggio Emilia-inspired approach to learning and quality programs brings an unrivaled distinction in preschool and early childhood education to our area. I love to be hands-on, and you will often see me visiting in the classrooms. My door is always open to my staff and LSP families. I believe the key to a great school is communication, I would love to tell you all about Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and get to know you and your family.
Howdy!! My name is Tracey and I am honored to be the Assistant Director for Little Sunshine’s Playhouse of The Woodlands. I have been in the early childhood education field for more than 30 years, mainly on the school-aged side of things. I received my CDA from Texas State University and attended Sam Houston State University – teaching children is my passion.
I am very blessed to be part of the LSP Woodlands team. I feel that the learning environment and family friendly atmosphere of our school embodies the spirit of what Early Childhood education should be. I love supporting our teachers and staff, as I feel happy teachers lead to happy kiddos. If you can’t find me in the front office, peek into the classrooms – I really love to snuggle on our sweet babies when I get the chance.
One of the greatest pleasures of my life has been caring for my husband and raising my amazing son, Nick. They bring joy to my life every day and I am truly blessed to have them both in my life.
