Each month we have original projects, provide each classroom with new materials that reflect the monthly theme and provide related activities to support the individual concepts of the “whole child.”
Our Lakeway, TX Leadership Team
Hi families! My name is Suzanne, and I am the Program Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Lakeway.
My heart has always been in early childhood education. I come from a long line of child educators; my mother is a teacher (at 76 years old), my partner is a teacher, and my sister is a teacher. I have been both a lead teacher and an assistant teacher. Most recently I was the Head of School at a school located in Cedar Park; a campus of 150+ children from 6 weeks old through sixth grade.
I feel deeply that we all want to feel connected. It is especially so for children. As educators, we are intentional when we answer this call. We model real life with respect for the child; how to be mad, how to be sad, how to be disappointed – how to jump for joy, how to be silly.
On a personal note, I have two children, two grandchildren, four cats and two dogs. I am an intaglio artist and spend most of my free time in an art studio or kayaking.
Hello! My name is Diana and I am very proud to be serving you as the Assistant Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Lakeway. I began my journey with this amazing company in the fall of 2021 when I was offered the opportunity to be a lead teacher. I loved truly loved my role – spending each day watching my student learn and grow was so incredible. After some time, I was given the opportunity to become a head teacher where I got to provide support to all the teachers with their day-to-day planning and coordinating in their classrooms. And now, as the assistant director, I get to continue doing the same things I love so much, as well as get to know each family as we partner with you to provide your child with the highest quality care in our area.
Professionally, I am working on finishing up my bachelor’s in business with a minor in Early Childhood Education. My studies have and will continue to help me grow professionally as well as personally.
On a personal note, after living in South Texas my whole life I took a leap of faith and decided to move to Austin, and it has honestly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It has been an amazing experience so far and I love the network of friends I have been able to connect with and build here.
Hello! My name is Kelly, and I am delighted to serve as Area Manager for the Austin, TX market. I am also the Program Director for Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool Austin, TX of Four Points. I look forward to getting to know your family and partnering with you to make the most of these crucial years of your child’s early education.
I have served as an early childhood education director since 2015 and will always be grateful for the countless lessons I have learned from my relationships with students, families and teachers. I have lived in Austin since 2001 when I moved to attend the University of Texas.
My husband and I are blessed with two amazing boys who love the outdoors, especially fishing, hiking and swimming. My youngest attends Little Sunshine’s Playhouse, and I couldn’t be happier to watch him learn and grow in an environment that fosters curiosity and compassion.

Our daughter is enrolled at LSP Lakeway in the Wonderland class. She loves going to school and is always happy. I have noticed a big change in her since attending LSP, in addition to all the milestones she is surpassing. My daughter is talking more verbally and using the ASL she is being taught. She LOVES her teachers! I can tell they take really good care of her and treat her as if she were their own. Thank you, LSP for taking such good care of our daughter and going above and beyond.
I am a mother of 3 and I can’t speak more highly of a school than Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool. I kept my two preschool-age children home during 2020 due to COVID and then we decided to enroll them both into LSP in Lakeway. I did a ton of research on preschools in my area but ultimately decided to make a 30-minute commute to attend THIS school.
At Little Sunshine’s, they have a personal chef so breakfast, lunch and snacks are handled. YES! Makes such a difference! The school also sends out daily reports to parents with a brief breakdown of the day, how much my kid ate for lunch, what time they fell asleep for a nap, and a cute photo of my child taken sometime during the day.
Overall, I love this school so much and would highly recommend it to other families!
Finding a safe and welcoming school for your child has proven to be a challenge for me and my husband until we found LSP. My husband and I could not be happier with the staff and the curriculum that my son is exposed to and has been to for almost a year now. He absolutely LOVES going to “school” every day and talks about his teachers and friends constantly. The amount he learns is mind-blowing. The weekly menus are wonderful, healthy and food my son loves to eat! It helps me plan his dinners during the week which is incredibly helpful as a full-time working mom. If you haven’t already figured it out, we love LSP and highly recommend it to our neighbors and friends.
