Reggio Emilia-Inspired Preschool & Child Care in Southlake
Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool® of Southlake opened in 2014 and is the only preschool offering a Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum in Southlake. The school is located in the heart of Southlake, right down the road from Southlake Towne Center.
Our all-inclusive, private preschool program provides educational child care to children ages 6 weeks through pre-kindergarten in the Southlake and Grapevine communities.
In order to cater to your family’s unique child care needs, we offer a variety of schedule options, which are M-F, MWF and Tues./Thurs. Our monthly tuition rates include: formula, wipes, baby food, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and extracurricular activities.
Our Leadership Team
Hi! I am so excited to be your Executive Director of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse of Southlake.
I have been devoted to early childhood education for the past 12 years. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in early childhood education with a minor in childhood intervention. After graduating, I worked as an applied behavior analysis therapist. I then wanted to try my hand in the classroom as a teacher. After teaching for several years I was given the opportunity to become a preschool director and I haven’t looked back. My true passion is working hands-on with children and families. I want to be the best advocate for your child while providing a loving, trusting and safe environment. I look forward to meeting every one of you and creating lasting relationships.
On a personal note, I grew up in Colleyville and now live in North Richland Hills with the two loves of my life, my husband Josh and our two-year-old son Levi. In our spare time, we love being outdoors, spending time at the lake and fishing!
I feel one of the keys to a great school is communication. My door is always open and I will always be available to our LSP families and staff. I look forward to meeting you all.
My name is Alyssa and I am so excited to be your Assistant Program Director here at LSP Southlake. Early childhood education is one of my greatest passions and I am grateful it’s been such a large part of my career for the last eight years. I have my Associates of Arts in early childhood education from Tarrant County College and I strive to continue that education and training each year.
My goal is to always make sure each family feels their child is safe, well cared for and loved while they are in our care. I believe open communication is key and I will do whatever I can to ensure you and your children have the best experience while in our program.
On a personal note, I was born and raised in Surprise, Arizona and I moved to Fort Worth in 2010. I currently live with my amazing husband, Ryan, our daughter Harper and our two dogs Remy and Roscoe. In our spare time, we enjoy being outside whenever we can and cheering on all our favorite sports teams.
I am beyond excited to be a part of your child’s early childhood education and can’t wait to witness the wonder, curiosity and development your child will go through in our program.
