At Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool® we believe that a child’s work is play. We teach children age-appropriate lessons, manners, and social skills all through creative and purposeful play. We believe that if children enjoy learning at a young age it will carry with them throughout their lives.
Each month we have original projects, provide each classroom with new materials that reflect the monthly theme and provide related activities to support the individual concepts of the “whole child.”

Our Leadership Team

Mrs. Kelley
Area Manager & Program Director
Hi, LSP Families! I began my career with Little Sunshine’s Playhouse at our Claremont location in April of 2010. After taking a brief break in August of 2019 I have rejoined the LSP family as the program director of our Chestnut location. In 2020, I accepted the Program Director position at LSP Southlake. My passion is enriching the lives around me and building lasting relationships. I look forward to meeting you and partnering together during these most crucial years of learning for your little one.
On a personal note, I have been married to my wonderful husband Matt for almost 5 years. Together we have two children, Amara will be turning 16 this summer and our son Asher (our leap day baby) just turned 4. In our spare time, we love watching the St. Louis and Springfield Cardinals and going to as many games as we can. During NCAA basketball season you will find us cheering for our Kentucky Wildcats and Missouri State Bears.
As a family we also enjoy camping. Every day is an adventure in our home.

Ms. Tia
Assistant Director
Hello, my name is Tia, and I am the Assistant Director here at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Southlake. Every day I wake up just so excited to be a part of the student’s lives. I get the chance to watch them grow each and every day while helping to shape their minds. This time for children is one of the most important.
I am so happy to have moved into this role and ready to start this amazing journey. I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri. I graduated from St. Louis Community College with my AAS in Early Care and Education. I am going on my 14th year of being in the childcare field. I am on my fifth year working here at Little Sunshine Playhouse and what an AMAZING JOURNEY it has been. I have previously taught at LSP of University City, Mo for three years then I was promoted to head teacher at LSP of O’Fallon, Mo. In early 2020 my family and I relocated to Frisco, Texas. What made this move so exciting is that I could stay on this journey with my LSP family and transfer to the Southlake location. I started off as the two-year-old teacher then moved into the Pre-K teacher role and ultimately was promoted to Head Teacher.
On a personal note, I have a wonderful love of my life, an awesome 7-year-old son Brayden and two dog babies Diesel and Kash! I love them with all my heart!
