Our September 2016 Company-Wide Teacher of the Month is Kayla Webber from our Colorado Springs, Colorado location.
Kayla’s supervisors, Aubrie and Blake had the following to say:
“We are excited to announce Miss Kayla Webber as our September Teacher of the Month. Miss Kayla is one of our fantastic infant teachers that is always full of enthusiasm for her kiddos. Every day she comes in dedicated to her students and dedicated to helping her team. Miss Kayla shines in providing the best care possible for her babies and has overcome many obstacles in her classroom. Everyone can see how much she cares for her students as soon as they walk through the door. She is such a sweet and genuine person towards her team and her students. We absolutely love having Miss Kayla at LSP and know how lucky we are to have her on our team!” One of Kayla’s parents had this to say about her: “Miss Kayla has been a wonderful addition to the Wonderland classroom. She gives the babies so much love and detailed attention that I appreciate so much. Our little one is always so happy when I pick her up from school and I know part of this is the lovin’ she gets from Miss Kayla all day. We are so happy to have her, keep up the wonderful work.” Kayla started working at her first preschool while she was still in high school. Her aunt helped her get the job and she ended up loving it. She loves the people she works with. “They were all so sweet and welcoming when I first started.” Kayla works in the infant department. “I love that I get to see them change and hit milestones. I get the opportunity to see them do things for the first time and that’s so rewarding.” Her favorite curriculum project was when her classroom completed family handprints for the “All About Me” unit. Outside of work, Kayla loves spending time with her family camping or playing sports. Most people might not know that Kayla loves hockey! “It is my favorite sport to watch and attend.”
