March Company-Wide Teacher of the Month
What a month March was at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse! We got to learn all about Rainforests & Deserts, doing tons of creative and exciting activities! Our educators were busy learning and teaching with all of our students across the country! We had many genuine and caring educators nominated for our Company-Wide Teacher of the Month award. The following men and women were nominated by their Program Director:

- Leah Woods, Colorado Springs
- Eugene Davis, University City

Congratulations to these fine educators! Thank you for all you do; for your kiddos, your families, coworkers and school! We are lucky to have you on our team!
With that being said, it is our pleasure to introduce you to the March Company-Wide Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Jenna Valentino-Pintor from Gilbert, Arizona!
Program Director, Andrea Jader, had the following to say about Jenna, “She is enthusiastic, creative, adoring, and devoted to all of the toddlers at LSP. Jenna is definitely one of Gilbert’s premium teachers. She is always coming up with new ways to keep her student’s attention and teach them at any moment possible. Mrs. Jenna’s pride in her work makes her an asset to our school and her positivity is infectious to the entire team. She is fully deserving of this honor!”
Jenna has always had a passion for education, and while attending Northern Arizona University and student teaching, she knew that she was in the right profession and would be a teacher forever!
Though the Gilbert school has only been open for a few short months, Jenna has created lasting relationships with her students and families. The best part of her job is working with the students and their families every day, and getting to exemplify the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse way in her classroom!
While she is in her toddler classroom, Jenna loves watching her kiddos communicate. They are so creative in the way they talk to her and to each other; through sign language, facial expressions and their short words.
Jenna’s favorite curriculum project thus far was during the month of March when they created leprechauns using the children’s pictures. They used orange paint, a fork for the beard and added a small green hat. “The kids loved seeing themselves and using a fork to paint,” Jenna stated.
Outside of work, Jenna enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, and their little boy, Vincent. They like to be outside and go to the park and read books together! Jenna also loves fashion and staying busy, so in her downtime she works at a local boutique with a close friend!
Gilbert is lucky to have you Jenna and we can’t wait to follow your journey with the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse family!
