Reggio Emilia-Inspired Preschool & Child Care For Littleton Families
Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool® of Littleton opened in 2016 and was the first Little Sunshine’s Playhouse in the Denver metro. The school is located in the southwestern part of Littleton, at the corner of Mineral and Platte Canyon. We are right near Dunkin Donuts and the Outlook apartments.
Our all-inclusive, private preschool program provides educational child care to children ages 6 weeks through pre-kindergarten in the Ken Caryl, BowMar & Columbine communities.
In order to cater to your family’s unique child care needs, we offer a variety of schedule options, which are M-F, MWF and Tues./Thurs. Our monthly tuition rates include: formula, wipes, baby food, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and extracurricular activities.

We believe that if children enjoy learning at a young age it will carry with them throughout their lives.
Each month we have original projects, provide each classroom with new materials that reflect the monthly theme and provide related activities to support the individual concepts of the “whole child.”
Our Littleton Leadership Team
Hello! My name is Cynthia, and I am so thrilled to be the Assistant Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Littleton. I have been with Little Sunshine’s since 2020 when I started as a lead teacher in our toddler classroom. Shortly after, I was promoted to head teacher. I have enjoyed growing and learning every day from my experiences.
I have a Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University. I have my license for Large Center Director in the state of Colorado and have worked in the early childcare industry, at public schools, and have volunteered with children throughout my life but, Little Sunshine’s Playhouse feels truly like my home away from home.
I am a Colorado native, born and raised. I love to hike and kayak with my dog, Rizzo, on the weekends. Family is a huge part of my life and I spend as much time with them as possible. My new obsession is my baby nephew, so a lot of my spare time is dedicated to him.
I can’t wait to get to know you!

What Our Littleton Families Are Saying
This is our second go-around with LSP. We had our two older children there when LSP first opened until they went to elementary school. When it was time for our surprise baby to go to daycare we couldn’t think to send him anywhere but LSP! What was amazing, was after over two years of being gone, I returned to see some of the same faces that cared for my older children – which is almost unheard of in the childcare industry, especially with what COVID has done. The staff has always been wonderful to my children, giving them love and support throughout all the developmental changes that happen. My older children were well prepared for kindergarten both socially and academically. We love how the staff takes time to answer our questions, works WITH us to solve any problems, and genuinely cares for children. We could not ask for a better place for our little one to spend his days.
This family of hard-working childcare professionals has taken amazing care of our son for 2 crazy years considering all the COVID complications. They have exceeded my expectations by over-communicating at every transition and focusing on keeping kids, teachers, and families healthy. If you are looking for childcare in the area, then look no further, LSP is the best out there!
Our 2.5-year-old daughter has been going to LSP since she was 7 months old. Honestly, my husband and I couldn’t recommend the curriculum and the staff any higher. Our daughter has excelled tremendously in motor skills, speech, and curiosity about the world. She absolutely loves her teachers and friends and talks about them every day! We work full-time jobs and it’s such a relief to know she’s in the best hands. We have a second little one on the way and can’t wait for him to join the LSP family 💗
