Reggio Emilia-Inspired Preschool & Child Care in Littleton, CO
Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool® of Littleton opened in 2016 and was the first Little Sunshine’s Playhouse in the Denver metro. The school is located in the southwestern part of Littleton, at the corner of Mineral and Platte Canyon. We are right near Dunkin Donuts and the Outlook apartments.
Our all-inclusive, private preschool program provides educational child care to children ages 6 weeks through pre-kindergarten in the Ken Caryl, BowMar & Columbine communities.
In order to cater to your family’s unique child care needs, we offer a variety of schedule options, which are M-F, MWF and Tues./Thurs. Our monthly tuition rates include: formula, wipes, baby food, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and extracurricular activities.
Our Leadership Team
Hello! My name is Lynda and I am so very excited and grateful to be a part of this amazing school and to get to know all of you. I have been a part of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool® of Littleton since before we opened our doors in 2016. I started as the assistant director and was promoted to program director in November of 2017. I have loved being a part of this school and look forward to many more years here!
I grew up in Colorado Springs, CO before becoming a Buffalo at the University of Colorado – Boulder, where I received my bachelor’s degree in english literature and a minor in French. I recently just obtained my master’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Colorado at Denver. I have been working in early childhood education since 2011 and have truly found my passion in working with children and families.
On a more personal note, I got married in October 2015 in Palmer Lake, Colorado to my college sweetheart. My husband and I bought a house in Denver in January of 2019 with our dog and two cats! We enjoy traveling and going on adventures with our dog, Sacky.
Hello! My name is Amy and I so proud to serve you as the assistant director of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool of Littleton. I have been a part of this great family since we opened in May of 2016.
I started as the lead pre-kindergarten teacher after graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. I fell in love with this company because of the unique curriculum, supportive leaders, and the countless ways to grow in my profession. Now, as the assistant director, I have discovered so much about myself as a leader and am eternally grateful for the relationships that have flourished with all children, families and teachers.
My son, Torey, also attends Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and he is as happy as I am. I feel truly blessed to be able to experience his growth and development on a daily basis. In our free time, Torey and I love to get out and get active, spending as much time in the sunlight as possible. We also have a passion for food; we are always out and about trying new and unique restaurants!
