At Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool® we believe that a child’s work is play. We teach children age-appropriate lessons, manners and social skills all through creative and purposeful play. We believe that if children enjoy learning at a young age it will carry with them throughout their lives.
Each month we have original projects, provide each classroom with new materials that reflect the monthly theme and provide related activities to support the individual concepts of the “whole child.”
Our Leadership Team
Hello, my name is Debra, and I am the Program Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool in Littleton. I am originally from London, England and have lived in Colorado for 25 years. I am so excited to be part of the Little Sunshine’s family and look forward to getting to know you and your family.
I have worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for more than 35 years. I hold a BS in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Psychology. I have many years of experience working with children of all ages, birth to 18 years old. I have held positions in both private and public school settings, and have enjoyed working and mentoring teachers, parents, and students. I found my love for Early Childhood Education at young age and have developed a deep passion for helping young children reach their maximum potential at the beginning of their school careers. My goal is to encourage every student to continue their love of learning as green and growing learners for the 21st century.
I very much look forward to working with your children and your family at LSP. I hope to foster and partner relationships with you all, as we journey together in your child’s education.
