Our Alpharetta Preschool Leadership Team
Hello! My name is Nicole. I am proud to be serving families at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse of Alpharetta as the Program Director. I have worked in the child care industry for more than 20 years. I started out as a lead infant teacher, then worked my way up. It is amazing to watch their parents bring them in at six weeks, then watch them blossom to 5-year-old Pre-k graduates. It is amazing how time flies when you are engaged in a happy environment where there is never a dull moment.
I graduated from The University of Phoenix; where I received an Associate of Science in business. After being a stay-at-home mom for 2 years, I decided to go back to school to get my BA in early childhood education administration and director’s certification to become more knowledgeable about the business side of early education. Although my experience in this field has afforded me the opportunity to work in several leadership positions, I continue to stay abreast of Georgia’s child care licensing rules and regulations as they are ever-changing as is the child care industry.
A child’s mind is like that of a sponge. It soaks up everything that their environment puts out; so why not be a part of the most important environment of a child’s life, besides home? Primary education centers are the best places for children to play, laugh, learn, and grow. We provide helpful resources to guide them to a successful future.
I enjoy what I do; and I am even more excited to be a part of the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool family. I cannot wait to join in on story time, which is my favorite time of the day; and who knows, I may get lucky and walk in during my favorite book; “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly”!

What Alpharetta Families Are Saying
We LOVE Little Sunshine’s Playhouse! We started at LSP almost two years ago after moving to the area and searching for a good daycare fit for our two youngest children. We fell in love with the environment of this school from our first visit. Positive classroom interactions, caring teaching and administrators, excellent enrichment opportunities, and quality instruction have kept us completely satisfied with our choice. Our children love this school, and we love that they are cared for by wonderful teachers while we are away. We have made great friendships with other families at the school, and would absolutely recommend this school to others in the area.
I can’t even begin to express the gratitude I have for every person who works here and takes care of my baby while I work. You can tell that they genuinely care. I’m a single mom and it’s hard at times. They are so positive with me and reassure me that I’m doing a great job with my little. They really go above and beyond for her! She knows some sign language and Spanish words. She’s advancing so quickly and I think it has to do with how they teach the kids. I highly recommend them!
My child came here just a few weeks ago from another preschool. Everyone has welcomed her with open and loving arms, especially her teachers. They do an amazing job keeping me updated with daily reports and photos. My child sings the songs she’s learning and loves telling me about her day. The director and the assistant director take a personal interest in all the children and are accessible and available for questions and concerns. Thank you LSP Alpharetta for all you do!
