Our Alpharetta Preschool Leadership Team
Hello! My name is Ana, and I am thrilled to be the Area Manager of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Alpharetta!
My passion for early childhood education began as a young mother homeschooling my own children. It has since grown to over 18 years of combined experience serving as a director and executive director in the early childhood setting. Including nine years of a children’s ministry as director and teacher. Through these experiences, I have made many relationships with wonderful families.
On a personal note, I have been married 28 years to my best friend, Jorge. We have raised three wonderful children Scarlett, Laura, and George, and are very excited to have welcomed our first grandbaby, Atlas. Our family enjoys exploring the great outdoors through hiking, camping, kayaking, and more.
It is with great pride and joy that I walk alongside your family through this educational journey.
Hello! My name is Laura, and I am honored to be the Program Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Alpharetta. The LSP learning philosophy is something that I am truly passionate about.
A little bit about me, I have my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, a reading endorsement from Kennesaw State University (Hooty Hoot)! In addition, I have my teaching certificate through the state of Georgia. My journey as an educator started in high school. For the past four years I have worked in the preschool setting. I have experience teaching children from six weeks through fifth grade. Throughout my career I have been a floater, assistant teacher, lead teacher, and head teacher.
I am very passionate about the Reggio Emilia approach to learning. As a homeschooled child I got to experience learning in a way that tailored to me as an individual and promoted curiosity. My favorite thing about children is their sense of wonder. I strive to provide a learning environment that is unique, child centered, experience driven, considers the senses and full of marvel.
On a personal note. I was born in California, raised in Florida, and have called Georgia my home for the past nine years. In my free time I like to do crafts, hiking, gardening, reading, shopping, and rock climbing. My family is close knit; I love spending time with my parents, siblings, nephew and pets.
I look forward helping your little ones discover themselves and their environment.
Hello! My name is Adriene, and I am so happy to be serving as the Assistant Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Alpharetta. I have been in the education field for over 15 years and have loved every moment of it. Over the past few years, I have been in several leadership positions such as an instructional coach, educational coordinator, and head teacher.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family studies and have a Master’s in Education Management and Early Childhood Education.
On a personal note, I was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Georgia 13 years ago. Moving to Georgia was one of the best things that has happened to me. Here in Georgia, I met my husband Tim and we have been married for more than eight years.
I am so excited to be going on this new journey and to be part of the LSP family. I look forward to meeting all of you and working with each family to building a community.

What Alpharetta Families Are Saying
We LOVE Little Sunshine’s Playhouse! We started at LSP almost two years ago after moving to the area and searching for a good daycare fit for our two youngest children. We fell in love with the environment of this school from our first visit. Positive classroom interactions, caring teaching and administrators, excellent enrichment opportunities, and quality instruction have kept us completely satisfied with our choice. Our children love this school, and we love that they are cared for by wonderful teachers while we are away. We have made great friendships with other families at the school, and would absolutely recommend this school to others in the area.
I can’t even begin to express the gratitude I have for every person who works here and takes care of my baby while I work. You can tell that they genuinely care. I’m a single mom and it’s hard at times. They are so positive with me and reassure me that I’m doing a great job with my little. They really go above and beyond for her! She knows some sign language and Spanish words. She’s advancing so quickly and I think it has to do with how they teach the kids. I highly recommend them!
My child came here just a few weeks ago from another preschool. Everyone has welcomed her with open and loving arms, especially her teachers. They do an amazing job keeping me updated with daily reports and photos. My child sings the songs she’s learning and loves telling me about her day. The director and the assistant director take a personal interest in all the children and are accessible and available for questions and concerns. Thank you LSP Alpharetta for all you do!
