Our Alpharetta Preschool Leadership Team
Ms. Liz
Program Director
Hello, my name is Liz and I am so excited to be the Program Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Alpharetta.
My journey in early childhood began when I became a mother for the first time 26 years ago. A passion grew over the years from the classroom to curriculum coordinator to directing my very own schools. Though I have studied both early childhood education and business management, my extensive years of hands-on experience in the field have proved to be the most valuable.
On a personal note, I just recently moved back to Georgia after being away for 14 years. A lot has changed, but it feels great to be back home! My husband, Andy, and I have been married for 28 years and have four amazing children. Three of our boys stayed in Oklahoma (where we moved from) which has been a huge adjustment for this mama! However, our teenage daughter, Megan still lives at home and definitely keeps us on our toes!
I am thrilled to be your Program Director and I am looking forward to meeting all the Alpharetta staff and families.
Ms. Adriene
Assistant Director
Hello! My name is Adriene, and I am so happy to be serving as the Assistant Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Alpharetta. I have been in the education field for over 15 years and have loved every moment of it. Over the past few years, I have been in several leadership positions such as an instructional coach, educational coordinator, and head teacher.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family studies and have a Master’s in Education Management and Early Childhood Education.
On a personal note, I was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Georgia 13 years ago. Moving to Georgia was one of the best things that has happened to me. Here in Georgia, I met my husband Tim and we have been married for more than eight years.
I am so excited to be going on this new journey and to be part of the LSP family. I look forward to meeting all of you and working with each family to building a community.

What Alpharetta Families Are Saying
Alyssa
We LOVE Little Sunshine’s Playhouse! We started at LSP almost two years ago after moving to the area and searching for a good daycare fit for our two youngest children. We fell in love with the environment of this school from our first visit. Positive classroom interactions, caring teaching and administrators, excellent enrichment opportunities, and quality instruction have kept us completely satisfied with our choice. Our children love this school, and we love that they are cared for by wonderful teachers while we are away. We have made great friendships with other families at the school, and would absolutely recommend this school to others in the area.

I can’t even begin to express the gratitude I have for every person who works here and takes care of my baby while I work. You can tell that they genuinely care. I’m a single mom and it’s hard at times. They are so positive with me and reassure me that I’m doing a great job with my little. They really go above and beyond for her! She knows some sign language and Spanish words. She’s advancing so quickly and I think it has to do with how they teach the kids. I highly recommend them!
Ann
My child came here just a few weeks ago from another preschool. Everyone has welcomed her with open and loving arms, especially her teachers. They do an amazing job keeping me updated with daily reports and photos. My child sings the songs she’s learning and loves telling me about her day. The director and the assistant director take a personal interest in all the children and are accessible and available for questions and concerns. Thank you LSP Alpharetta for all you do!
