Mrs. Pam

Area Manager & Program Director

Hello LSP families, my name is Pam Fegan and I am thrilled to be the Area Manager of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool locations in Illinois. My journey began with Little Sunshine Playhouse in January 2016 when I helped open the LSP of Willowbrook as the program director.

I have worked in the early childhood field for over 20 years, in the classroom and management roles.  I have always had a passion in working with children and making a difference in each child’s life.  These years are so crucial in their learning and development, I feel honored to be part of it and work alongside all our amazing teachers and leaders.

On a personal note, my husband John and I have three amazing children.  We love spending family time together doing fun arts and crafts, cooking together, and anything outdoors.   We also love to travel and find new adventures to see and enjoy together.

I am really looking forwarded to expanding our LSP family in Illinois and meeting you all.

Ms. Genna, Assistant Director of Little Sunshine's Playhouse and Preschool of Willowbrook, IL

Mrs. Genna

Assistant Program director

Hello, my name is Genna. I’m excited to serve you and your family as the assistant director of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool of Willowbrook.

Working with children has always been a passion of mine. Their imagination is inspiring, which is one of the reasons I love our Reggio Emilia- inspired curriculum, Creatively Shine, which allows teachers to be co-learners with their students. I have been working with children for the past 15 years and have enjoyed every minute of it! I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in family consumer sciences, focusing on the sequence of human development and family relations. I also earned my minor in children studies. This is when I developed my love for working with not only children but their families as well.

I am very personable and truly look forward to supporting you and your children. I can’t wait to give your family an experience better than you have imagined here at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool®.

At Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool® we believe that a child’s work is play. We teach children age-appropriate lessons, manners, and social skills all through creative and purposeful play. We believe that if children enjoy learning at a young age it will carry with them throughout their lives.

Each month we have original projects, provide each classroom with new materials that reflect the monthly theme and provide related activities to support the individual concepts of the “whole child.”

I absolutely love this place. The staff is beyond amazing. They all love each kid individually and give a personal touch. If you are looking for a school that will help teach your kid and not just color with them this is the place to be. Don’t take my word. Call and meet them.

There are not enough words to describe how much we love Little Sunshine’s! Our child has thrived thanks for all of the teachers there! Our daughter loves going there and all of the teacher knows her name. It is an incredibly clean, safe environment. I love the little LuvNotes that we get everyday with photos. It makes this Type A working mom feel at ease. Also, the red carpet drop off cannot be beat!

Too many great things to say about the staff at LSP! Now that I have a second one there (infant age) they have continued to show their expertise and warmth toward my daughter during her transition period. I didn't put my son in that early so it was just as much a transition for me as it was for my daughter. I would call daily to check in on how she was doing in the beginning and the staff would right away go check on her, update me, and put me at ease. Also, she sometimes would get a little sad and miss me, so the assistant director would go and cuddle with her/put her to sleep and make her feel more secure and at home...which means the world to me knowing my baby feels comforted. Her teachers, know how hard it is to see my baby cry at drop off and they always make sure to write extra little notes on how she did that day and give me daily verbal progress reports of how she is adjusting when I pick her up. I can be a picky/extra special parent sometimes 🙂 and they never have once made me feel bad for it, they are always very accepting and understanding. They treat my daughter as if it were one of their own.
