What We’ve Been Exploring
March's Curriculum Theme: Mountains and Forests
Last month, our classrooms transformed into outdoor-inspired spaces where children explored mountains and forests through natural materials, loose parts, dramatic play, and sensory experiences. They built landscapes, created habitats, and designed small worlds—strengthening creativity, language, and problem-solving along the way. As the weeks progressed, children extended their ideas into collaborative play, turning their explorations into shared adventures like hiking journeys and animal habitats while practicing communication, cooperation, and revisiting their thinking. The focus remained on the joy of exploring, discovering, and learning together through meaningful play.
