Our Leadership Team
Hello! My name is Lindsey, I am the proud Program director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool® of Springfield at Claremont.
I have worked in childcare for more than 15 years and consider it one of my greatest passions. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach infant classrooms all the way through pre-k and earned the titles “Preschool Classroom of the Year and Outstanding Nature Classroom for Infants.” I have my national certification in early childhood and I am currently finishing up my four-year degree in early childhood.
On a personal note, my husband and I live on a farm and love watching hockey and baseball together! Go Blues and Cardinals!! I also enjoy going on long runs and spending time with my family.
I love sharing all my experiences, knowledge, and passion with my staff and our incredible LSP families.
Hello and welcome to Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool® of Springfield, MO at Claremont.
I started my career in child care at 18 years old working through an early child care program at my high school. From there I have worked in quite a few facilities. I began my adventure with Little Sunshine’s in September of 2015 at our Cardinal location as the early preschool teacher. There I got a reputation for fun art and science projects, where the kids got to get their little hands messy! I love watching kiddos explore the world with their senses and the light in their eyes as they learn something new!! I was offered the opportunity to become the assistant director of this location in April 2016. I look forward to meeting your family and helping your child learn and grow!
On a personal note: I love playing with my three children and my husband. I am very involved with the youth at my church. I teach the teen Sunday school class and work with the elementary age kids on Thursday nights. I also sing with my 13-year-old daughter on our praise team.
