Ms. Anna
PROGRAM Director
Hello, my name is Anna, and I am so excited to serve you as Program Director of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Springfield at Claremont. I am so happy to be part of your children’s and family’s lives.
I found my passion for early childhood education starting in 2013. Since then, I’ve worked as a lead teacher for several years. After gaining nine years of wonderful experience as an early educator. I continuously strive to provide the very best learning experience while still creating lots of fun memories in our program – after all, children learn best through play!
A little about myself, I have a wonderful husband that I have been married to for a little over three years, and have a daughter who keeps us very busy and keeps life so fun. During my free time, I love to spend time at the lake with my family, taking trips with my family and watching my daughter experience new things! My husband and I love to go camping and be outside. Hiking in the mountains or swimming in the ocean is what I find the most relaxing.
I look forward to helping create fun and happiness in your child’s life.
Ms. Shanna
Assistant Director
Hello! My name is Shanna, and I am so excited to be the Assistant Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Springfield at Claremont! I have been with Little Sunshine’s Playhouse for three years, beginning my journey as an infant teacher, and in July 2023 becoming the Head Teacher. I have such a passion for fostering children’s growth and consider the students and families at Little Sunshine’s to be my home away from home.
I have vast experience with different age groups in childcare and am always inspired to continue growing my knowledge to best teach our little ones. I have been in childcare for almost 10 years, primarily having teaching experience with infants and toddlers!
On a personal note, I am originally from the Chicagoland area, and moved to Springfield, MO in 2020! Outside of work, I love to spend time with my fiancé, nieces and nephews, and precious pup! We love going to the movies, seeing concerts, and cheering on our favorite football team! Go Chiefs!

What Our Claremont Families Are Saying
Brittany
My daughter has been going here for a full year now and loves it. She is thrilled to run in and see her teacher every day. I’m happy that her teachers love her and take care of her so I don’t have to worry.

My 1.5-year-old has been attending this school for about 6 months now. It was hard to “let go” and send my daughter to daycare, but any morning that she was hesitant to stay, her teacher called me an hour or two later to check in so I knew my little one was happy. The daily personalized LuvNotes and pics are the highlight of my afternoons. Most importantly, her teachers and the staff never fail to let me know how much they love and care about my daughter. Couldn’t imagine taking her anywhere else!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Today was my son’s last day here, as he is about to start Kindergarten. They have taken immaculate care of him and I highly recommend LSP. All of the staff is great, and my son has learned a lot while being here. I would give six stars if I could!
