We proudly provide our students with a proprietary, emergent curriculum, Creatively Shine^®. Our curriculum is based on the highly acclaimed Reggio Emilia philosophy and includes monthly learning themes that are implemented in each classroom, using engaging, child-led activities and projects.

Our enrollment process begins with an interview between the program director and your family. We want to ensure our preschool meets your standards and that you feel welcomed into our program. Once a decision is made to enroll, a financial commitment in the form of a deposit is made. This financial commitment places your family on our pre-selected list. The program director will be in close communication with you regarding movement on our pre-selected list.

Your first tuition payment will be submitted for processing on your child’s first day and prorated for their start date. Tuition payments are processed on the 25th of each month for the upcoming month. You have the option to switch to ACH payment by adding a bank account to your LuvNotes account to circumvent any associated credit card fees. Once you start, monthly payments will be withdrawn automatically from the account on file. A third-party processing fee will be added to credit card payments. Should you decide to withdraw, we require a written, 30-day notice.

Yes! Purposeful daily communication is our thing. The LuvNotes® app provides you a look into your child’s day. It’s a safe, secure, and convenient communication platform where you can view personalized daily reports, receive classroom updates, and see photos or videos of your children throughout the day.

Little Sunshine’s Playhouse provides care for infants and children ages 6 weeks through Pre-Kindergarten. We are open year-round, offering three schedule options tailored to your family’s unique child care needs.

In addition to getting updates from the LuvNotes® mobile app, we conduct biannual Parent Teacher Conferences to review and discuss your child’s development. During these conferences, we review your child’s portfolio consisting of classroom observations, developmental markers, a sampling of work and various special moments.

We ensure the safety of our students through double-secured entryways with personal access codes, fully fenced playgrounds, classroom monitoring via an internal camera system, and ongoing teacher and staff training in safety and first aid. We also maintain authorized pick-up lists so only approved individuals can pick up children from our care, and in most states, we enforce an immunization policy to help protect the health of all students. However, in some states child care regulations do not allow us to refuse care to children who are not vaccinated. In those cases, we partner closely with families to maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone.

We do not accept state pay at all locations; however, several schools do participate in the Child Care Aware program, which can help eligible Military & Department of Defense families with tuition assistance.
