Our Leadership Team
Hi, there! My name is Jen and I am proud to be your program director of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool® of O’Fallon. This program is truly top-notch and I feel so blessed to be a part of it and I have no doubt you will too.
A little bit about me, I have a bachelor’s decree in English from Truman State University and a masters in special education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Throughout my career in early education, I have worked as an assistant, classroom lead, and as the director of a center caring and educating children with autism. My true passion is helping others and watching young learners succeed and develop over time with the help of dedicated and passionate early educators who inspire a love of learning each day.
On a personal note, my husband, Mike, and I have a son named Wesley and two Pitbulls, Zeus and Archer. We are proud residents of Wentzville, MO and enjoy bike rides, hiking and spending time outside every chance we get!
Assistant Program Director
Hello! My name is Leslie and I am excited to serve you and your children as the Assistant Program Director of Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool of O’Fallon.
I graduated from Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in child and family development. While in college, I worked as a teacher assistant and pre-k teacher at an Little Sunshine’s in Springfield, MO. In 2018 I got the pleasure of moving to Granite Bay, CA to help open our location there. But as a Saint Louis native, when the announcement for Little Sunshine’s Playhouse of O’Fallon was made I knew I jumped at the chance to move back to my hometown to be closer to family and friends.
Working with kiddos has always been a passion of mine. I love seeing their faces light up when they learn or discover something new. Most of all I also enjoy being able to be a presence in the children’s lives while helping shape their love for learning.
On a personal note, I love doing anything outdoors! I am very close with my family and enjoy hanging out with friends. When I have time, I love to travel and explore new places. I also enjoy shopping for home décor, swimming and I’m in the process of learning how to cook.
