Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool® of Hendersonville will be the third location in the Nashville metro area. The school is located on Maple Drive between Main Street and Indian Lake Boulevard near Hendersonville City Hall.
Our all-inclusive, private preschool program provides educational child care to children ages 6 weeks through pre-kindergarten in Hendersonville and greater Nashville communities.
In order to cater to your family’s unique child care needs, we offer a variety of schedule options, which are M-F, MWF and Tues./Thurs. Our monthly tuition rates include: baby food, wipes, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and extracurricular activities.

Hello! My name is Heather, and I am so excited to be the Program Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool of Hendersonville.
I was born and raised in Illinois, where I began my career in early childhood 20 years ago as a teacher. I quickly transitioned into a leadership role and developed a true passion for creating a healthy, safe, and loving environment for families and children. My goal is to build a home away from home experience for families, children, and their teachers. I feel blessed to be laying the strong foundation for Little Sunshine’s Playhouse of Hendersonville.
I have an amazing husband and three beautiful children, ranging from college to elementary age. When I’m not at Little Sunshine’s, you’ll find us cheering on our children at dance or sports events. As a family, we love to explore the beautiful state of Tennessee and work on DIY projects at home. Each day is a new blessing, and I’m grateful for each one!

Hello! My name is Madelynn, and I am thrilled to serve as the Assistant Program Director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool of Hendersonville. As a Hendersonville native, it is incredibly special to give back to the community where I grew up.
My journey in early childhood education began in high school at Beech High, where I worked as a nanny and tutor in my neighborhood. Since then, I have gained valuable experience in various roles, including an internship at Walt Disney World Resort, where I developed strong skills in guest experience and relationship building. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Business Administration, followed by an MBA, allowing me to blend my passion for early childhood education with strong leadership and operational expertise.
I am dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for both children and educators. Building meaningful relationships with families and fostering a positive workplace for teachers are at the heart of what I do. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the Hendersonville community.
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with family and friends. Fun fact—fall is my favorite season! I enjoy watching and attending football games, visiting apple orchards, hiking, and taking trips to Gatlinburg. I look forward to getting to know all of our wonderful families and being part of your child’s learning journey!
