Reggio Emilia-Inspired Preschool & Child Care in Granite Bay, CA
Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool® of Granite Bay opened in 2017 and was the first Little Sunshine’s Playhouse in the state of California. The school is located in the southwest part of Granite Bay right off of Douglas Blvd, next to Quarry Ponds.
Our all-inclusive, private preschool program provides educational child care to children ages 6 weeks through pre-kindergarten in the Roseville, Rocklin, Loomis and Granite Bay communities.
In order to cater to your family’s unique child care needs, we offer a variety of schedule options, which are M-F, MWF and Tues./Thurs. Our monthly tuition rates include: formula, wipes, baby food, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and extracurricular activities.
Our Leadership Team
Hello! My name is Marci, and I am excited to be the program director at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse & Preschool® of Granite Bay.
I have worked in childcare for over 20 years, 15 of which were as a full time Nanny for several amazing families. Those wonderful years and relationships shaped me into the caregiver I am today. I entered the early childhood education industry as a teacher’s aide then as I gained my early childhood education units I became lead teacher.
When I saw Little Sunshine’s Playhouse being built I knew that it is where I needed to be. I had the pleasure of being a part of opening this school and went from lead toddler teacher to head teacher and now program director.
On a personal note, I have a beautiful little boy and we love trips to the coast, camping, spending time with family and friends and just hanging out together.
I am so excited to be a part of this journey with you and your family. I love to see the smiles on the faces of all our students as they walk through the doors and run into their classrooms excited to see their teachers and classmates. I look forward to watching each child grow and learn in the years to come.
Hi! My name is Jen and I’ve been with Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool® of Granite Bay since opening day in November 2017.
My journey began as the head teacher of the infant and toddler educational programs, then had the opportunity to move up as the assistant director. I love everything about our Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum and I have always loved working in the early education industry.
I’m originally from St. Louis, Missouri where I graduated from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education in 2009. I have been working in the early childhood field for over 10 years now. I have a very strong, passionate belief in the importance of early childhood education and I am so excited to be on this journey with my LSP family.
In my spare time, I like to venture around my Sacramento neighborhood and take road trips with my husband, Justin and our puppy, Fiona. We also enjoy visiting nearby beaches and going to concerts.
I look forward to meeting you and your family.
