New Year Resolutions for the Whole Family

New Year resolutions can help bring out the very best in ourselves and can even be a fun activity for the whole family! Instead of the traditional resolutions to “be more physically active” or “have more patience” (because let’s be honest, those resolutions are usually broken by day 14… or less), encourage your children to help make family resolutions. Ask them what they want to do this year. Do they want to run and climb more? Do they want to build a teleportation device that takes them to Legoland (building instructions)? Write down the family resolutions, and your family can work on them together. This is also a great way to teach children how to set and work toward goals. Read what other kid-made resolutions parents shared with Parents.com.

We would love to hear what resolutions your children make!
