Meet Justin Bates, bringing Little Sunshine’s Playhouse to Texas!

There is something magical coming to Texas this fall. Little Sunshine’s Playhouse will be opening a new preschool in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The school will be located in Southlake and brought to the area by franchise owner, Justin Bates.

Justin attended college at College of the Ozarks in Branson, MO, but spent a large amount of his time bull riding in Texas. The state of Texas has always held a special place in Justin’s heart and he loved the idea of bringing quality childcare to a community that had such a high demand for it. He has a close relationship with another Little Sunshine’s Playhouse franchisee and has seen the quality and family-like atmosphere that this company provides, and he knew he wanted to be a part of it. And so, the Southlake location was born.

Unique characteristics and distinctive services will differentiate Little Sunshine’s Playhouse in Southlake as the premier preschool/childcare concept. “Early childhood education not only shapes young children’s lives for the better but also has a direct impact on society as a whole.  To be a part of a family-oriented team that is focused on contributing to that is something we are very proud and very grateful to be a part of,” commented Justin.

The onsite leadership team at the school will consist of Tiffany Harrop and Grace Fannin.

The program director, Tiffany, grew up in the Dallas area and understands the need for a quality program like Little Sunshine’s Playhouse in Southlake. Tiffany has her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech, as well as her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her passion for children is abundant by the career path she has taken in her life. She has deep ties to childcare in the Southlake area and has worked at and used many childcare facilities, but has never found something quite like Little Sunshine’s Playhouse. She recognizes the passion they have for quality childcare and sees the impact that early childhood education can have on children.  Her and her husband, Chad, have three young kiddos, who will all be Little Sunshine’s Playhouse students on opening day!

Grace Fannin, will be the Assistant Director with Tiffany, and they will be an unstoppable team! Grace has her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Environmental Science, with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Arkansas. She has worked with children for over ten years and loves the Southlake area. She understands how important it is for children to feel safe and secure at school, and how quality education can change a child’s life. As her and her husband, Sam, begin to plan for their family, they also see the demand for high-quality childcare in Southlake and Grace is very excited to be a part of that process and helping shape the mind of young children through early education.
